The Open RAN Center for Integration & Deployment (ORCID) is led by DISH Wireless, a subsidiary of EchoStar Corporation, in partnership with Fujitsu Network Communications, Mavenir Systems, and VMware by Broadcom. ORCID participants are able to leverage the significant capital investment and highly-specialized systems integration experience of ORCID’s consortium partners, significantly reducing the time and go-to-market costs of a new Open RAN product.
